Multiboard is a wall panel system with threaded holes on a smart grid. Hooks, bins, shelves, and tool holders all lock into the same holes.
It is now part of Multibuild, made by Jonathan Kobylanski at Keep Making. The connector parts you may know as Multipoints are now called Fix-Points.
Today we print the accessory layer: hooks, bins, shelves, and rails that work with Multiboard walls. Tiles follow a license from Keep Making, so we do not sell tile kits yet. Want a part in a special size? Upload your file and we print it.

Multiboard organizes walls. Gridfinity organizes drawers and desks. They do not compete, and most shops end up with both.

Multiboard questions
- Is Multiboard free?
- Most Multiboard files are free to download and print for your own use. Selling printed tiles needs a license from Keep Making. That is why we sell compatible hooks, bins, and shelves now, and hold tile kits until licensing is done.
- What are Fix-Points?
- The connector parts once called Multipoints are now called Fix-Points. They lock accessories into the wall grid.
- How much weight can Multiboard hold?
- Community tests put a mounted panel around 165 pounds, and printed T-bolts have held about 175 pounds. Use weight-bearing snaps or threaded mounts for heavy tools, and test your own wall first.
- Is Multiboard the same as Multibuild?
- Multiboard is the wall system. Multibuild is the bigger family it now belongs to. Both names appear on parts, and both work here.
- Can I buy Multiboard parts already printed?
- Yes. We print compatible hooks, bins, shelves, and Multiconnect rails to order in the USA and ship them to you. Tile kits are not for sale here yet.
- Can I get Multiconnect rails cut to length?
- Yes. The part builder makes Multiconnect rails and connectors from 25 to 200 mm, sized to your wall.
The Multiboard guide
What hooks work on a Multiboard wall?
Three kinds. Pegboard-style hooks click into the small holes on an offset-mounted board. Snap-in hooks lock into the large holes and carry more. Threaded mounts screw into any hole and carry the most.
For a starter wall, hang hand tools on simple hooks, use double hooks for hammers and cords, and give drills and batteries a threaded mount. The rule is simple: the heavier the thing, the deeper the connection.
Multiboard shelves and shelf brackets
A Multiboard shelf is two brackets plus a flat shelf, locked to the wall with snaps and printed locking bolts. You tighten the bolts with a coin.
We print Multibuild shelves in multiple sizes, ready to lock into your wall. Pick a color that matches the garage or the office.
Multiboard bins that lock in
Multibins are bins that click onto the wall and stay put. Each bin is a shell plus an insert. The shell carries the connection points. The insert gives it a job: a parts bin, a pen pot, a catch-all.
Bin sizes count in 50 mm cells, from small 1x1x1 cups up to big 4x4x4 boxes. Swap the insert and the same shell becomes something new.
Multiboard cable management under a desk
The offset mount is the trick. It floats the board a little off the wall, so charger cables run behind the board instead of dangling in front of it.
Under a desk, a flat connector plate screws to the desk bottom and holds cable clips, a power strip mount, or small drawers. The desk stays clean and the cables stay reachable.
Multiboard spool and tool holders
Filament spools, paper towels, and tape rolls all hang from the same idea: a printed rod on two strong mounts. Screwdriver racks, plier racks, and drill holsters hold each tool at grabbing height.
Heavy holders should use threaded mounts, not plain snaps. A drill holster with a screwed-in mount holds a drill with the battery still on it.
How do you mount Multiboard to a wall?
You screw the snap mounts to the wall, then the tiles click onto the mounts. Wood screws go into studs. Drywall anchors handle the spots between studs. Masonry anchors handle brick and block.

Can you buy Multiboard tiles here yet?
Not yet. Tiles are the one part of the system covered by the Keep Making seller license, and we sell only what we are licensed to sell. That is the honest answer.
What you can buy today: compatible hooks, bins, shelves, and Multiconnect rails cut to length. They work on Multiboard walls, and printing the accessories is the part most people want to skip anyway.
