Get a spacer, bushing, or shim made to your numbers

A gap that needs filling, or two parts that need a thin ring between them. Tell us the outer size, the inner hole, and the thickness, and we plan the part.

A flat ring with an outer diameter and a center bore.

Set your sizes

The spacer builder is not live yet. Send us your numbers and a person plans the part with you.

What we can make

  • A spacer between two parts

Set the outer size, the inner hole, and the thickness.

  • A shim to level an uneven part

A thin flat piece cut to your exact thickness.

How it works

  1. 1Tell us the sizes listed above.
  2. 2Send your numbers to the Solution Counter.
  3. 3A person looks at what you sent and plans the part.
  4. 4You see a price before anything is printed.

What we need from you

  • The outer diameter of the spacer or shim
  • The inner bore diameter, if it fits over a post or bolt
  • The thickness or height you need
  • Whether the edge should be chamfered

Materials

Most spacers and shims use PLA. A part under steady pressure can use PETG instead.

See the full materials page

Measurements and fit

  • Measure the outer diameter with a ruler, straight across the middle.
  • Measure the inner bore the same way, if there is a hole through the middle.
  • Measure the thickness with a ruler on its edge.
  • We make it to the sizes you give us.

Common questions

How thin can a shim be printed?
Tell us the thickness you need and we say plainly if it is too thin to print reliably.
Can a spacer have a bore that is not centered?
Yes. Tell us the offset and we plan the part around it.
What is the difference between a spacer and a bushing?
A spacer is usually a plain ring. A bushing sits inside a bore to reduce play or wear between two parts. Tell us the job and we plan the right shape.
