Sculptures come in every shape. This one loops back on itself in a single twisting band, built from the math of toroidal knots. It sits on a desk or shelf as a piece you can look at from any angle, since the curved form changes as you turn it in your hand.
The shape is generated from code that maps out a knot wrapped around a torus, the donut-like form at the center of the design. That process gives the piece its continuous, flowing lines and its looping, never-ending path.
