Sorting loose screws gets easier when you have a jig built just for the job. This screw sorting jig has four gauge slots cut for M5, M6, M8, and M10 sizes, so you can check a screw against the slot and see where it belongs.

The design uses a go/nogo slot for each size, based on standard ISO lengths. You drop a screw into a slot and match it to the right gauge without pulling out a caliper. The layout is open and easy to read, with no text printed on the back.
