The Scissor Snake Family is a fun, articulated 3D printed toy that prints fully assembled with no supports required. This award-winning design (Second Runner-Up, Support-free Product Design Christmas 2014) uses an exclusive support-less crossover bearing engineered for smooth, precise motion right off your build plate.
The scissor mechanism extends and contracts to create a remote grabber that's both durable and entertaining. When fully extended under load, the crossover bearing interlocks with the frame, making the entire structure rigid and reducing stress on the pivots. The result is a strong toy capable of lifting many times its own weight.
Choose from four sizes: Mini (perfect for calibration testing), Classic Scissor (ideal size for kids), Super (the longest version for maximum reach), and Magnum (an alternative scissor configuration). Each variant offers hours of engaging play for kids and adults alike.
