This programmable cryptex is a printable puzzle toy that lets you encode any 5, 6, or 7 letter word into a mechanical lock. Unlike standard cryptex models, this design is fully customizable, choose your word, print the matching letter rings, and create a unique puzzle for yourself or as a gift.
The cryptex features an improved Ring2 design with integrated anti-pick grooves that make it significantly harder to crack by testing ring resistance. For those with larger print beds, simply swap in the 6 or 7 letter core and central support pieces and print additional letter rings to extend your cryptex.
Build options include the classic ball end cap, an alternative skull design perfect for pirate-themed variants, and reversed-letter rings for easier printing.
