How do you build a lattice that is not just a plain box shape? This vertex piece has eight spokes, so you can attach straws in more directions than a basic cubic kit allows. It opens up building patterns that go beyond simple grids.
This round connector piece is shaped with eight spoke points spread around its body. Each spoke gives your straws a place to attach, so you can branch out and build meshes, domes, and other non-cubic shapes. It works alongside straw-based construction sets, adding a piece that most standard kits do not include.
The design comes from a parametric system, generated with code to give each spoke an even spread around the vertex body. If you loved building elaborate straw structures as a kid, this piece brings that same kind of open-ended building to your own table.
