The Mechanical Dice Box is a print-in-place dice storage solution built for tabletop gamers who want something a little more impressive than a velvet pouch. This seven-chambered box holds a standard set of gaming dice and opens with a satisfying twist of the outer dial. Spin counterclockwise and watch seven ridged doors unfurl along hidden circular rails, stowing neatly under the box to reveal all your dice at once. Spin clockwise to close it back up.
All nine components print together in a single file, pre-assembled and ready to function. No supports, no post-assembly, no fiddly cleanup, just carefully engineered tolerances that let the mechanism move smoothly right off the print bed. It's a functional conversation starter for game night or a thoughtful gift for the dice hoarder in your life.
Because the tolerances are dialed in for optimal performance, scaling is not recommended. Each compartment fits dice with a maximum spherical footprint of 1.06 inches, covering most standard polyhedral sets.
