Beside your CNC controller box, this bumper gives your dual relay board a defined spot to sit. It is shaped to wrap around the board's edges, keeping its footprint neat inside your electronics enclosure.
The design comes from a maker who needed a simple mount for a dual relay board used to run a CNC spindle with Grbl. This version, relay board bumper 1b, adds small reinforcements at each corner column for a sturdier frame shape. The open sides leave room for wiring, so you can access the board's terminals without removing the bumper.
This bumper works well for hobby CNC builds where the relay board controls spindle power. It gives your electronics a defined edge and a bit of separation from other parts in your control box.
