The Pythagorean cup is a classic drinking vessel that demonstrates fluid physics and the principle of siphon action. Fill it partially and drink normally. Overfill it and the entire contents drain, traditionally used as a historical lesson on the dangers of gluttony and excess.
This devious version improves on the original design by concealing the siphon tube within the cup walls rather than using an obvious central stem. The hidden tube traverses over 300 degrees around the rim, so a moderately filled cup won't drain when tilted. It's been printed and tested to work perfectly.
Ideal for science classrooms, physics demonstrations, or anyone who enjoys a clever engineering prank. Great conversation starter and hands-on introduction to fluid mechanics.
