The standard version simply holds the battery securely. The slot version allows brass tab connectors to wire the mount as a power tap (recommended only for makers experienced with battery work). Both mount with 5 mm screws for a solid hold even with heavy batteries.

Use it in the home shop, the garage, or a job site cabinet.
