3D Printed Workshop Pliers, Print-in-Place

Design preview. Rendered from the file, not a photo.
This model is not currently offered as a verified ready to buy print.
What it does
- Prints as one piece with moving parts so you skip assembly and start working right away
- Built with 0.2mm spacing between joints so your pliers grip and move smoothly out of the printer
- Needs just 3-4 wall layers and 20% infill so your print stays strong without wasting material
- You can adjust horizontal expansion in your slicer for a perfect fit that works best in your printer
Skip the store and print your own workshop pliers at home. This print-in-place design means you open your printer and grab a working tool, no glue or assembly needed.
The model uses tight 0.2mm gaps between all moving parts so everything pivots smoothly right off the bed. Print settings are simple: use 3 to 4 perimeters, 5 or 6 top and bottom layers, and 20% infill for a tool that lasts. If your printer runs tight, dial back horizontal expansion by 0.15mm in your slicer to dial in the perfect fit.
Print these for your own bench or make extras as gifts. Each plier is ready to grab and use the moment your print finishes.
1.8k downloads in the maker community. That is interest in the design on the site it came from, not our sales.
