What it does
- Captive handle design grips the clamp nut firmly so you can tighten or loosen your hose clamp with one hand
- Works in cold conditions where you take clamps on and off often, so your hands stay warmer and work faster
- Custom fit after printing; boil the key end to reshape it for your exact clamp size
- Light duty construction prints quickly, so you get your tool fast without waiting weeks
- Made in the USA from a proven design
Tired of struggling to grip small hose clamp nuts with your bare hands. This 3D-printed key gives you leverage and control so you can work faster in cold conditions where clamps need frequent adjustments.
The captive handle lines up with the hex sides of your clamp nut. Push or tap it into place before your first use. Some effort may be needed on the initial fit, depending on your clamp design. You may need to clean the inside hole with a 5/16 inch drill bit or rotary tool. The key end can be customized by soaking it in boiling water to reshape it for a tighter fit on your specific clamp.
This is a light duty tool built for regular on-and-off use. Many clamp nuts vary in shape, so you will need to work with the fit to match your needs. A small amount of glue can make the connection permanent if desired.
