What it does
- Grips your hex bit tight so it stays put while you drive screws one-handed
- Three splines bundle together around a ring, so you get a strong hold that won't fall apart
- Printed flat without supports so the splines stay as strong as possible
- Works with any standard hex drive bit you already own
- All-in-one version 2 design stays together better when the screw pushes back
Tired of dropping your hex bit or losing your grip while drilling one-handed. This holder clamps around your bit and keeps it in place so you can focus on the job. You print three splines and slide them into a ring, creating a tight grip that holds up to real use.
The design works because the six-sided ring interior aligns with your splines for a snug fit. Print it flat without supports from standard PLA, and the splines come out strong. If you have trouble assembling it, make sure the spline faces line up with the ring faces, or scale the ring up by 2 percent for an easier fit. Watch the assembly video to see how to rotate and tap the pieces into place.
Your 3D-printed workshop tool ships ready to print on demand. Just load your PLA and follow the simple assembly steps. This accessory works with your standard hex bits and makes one-handed work feel steady and controlled.
