What it does

  • Keeps your chain in place during transport so it won't rub on your frame
  • Works with your rear quick release skewer, so you need no extra parts
  • Three versions available, so you pick what fits your bike best
  • Prints without support material, so you save time and cost

Your bike chain stays put during rides and travel. No more chain rub on your frame. No more worry about damage when you move your bike. This 3D printed tool does real work in your workshop.

The chain tensioner mounts to your quick release skewer. You get three versions to choose from. Version 1 moves slightly when the skewer tightens. Version 2 stays locked in place and needs no support material to print. Version 3 is version 2 with less plastic, so you use less material. All versions keep your chain at the right spacing so your frame stays safe.

Use it for bike maintenance, storage, or transport. If your quick release or bike frame is different, let us know and we can make a custom version for you.
