How do I get a MakerWorld model printed?
Quick answer
Download the file yourself from the MakerWorld model page. MakerWorld gives files as .3mf or .stl. The .3mf is often a print-profile file that can hold more than one part on a plate, so you may need to pull out just the part you want. Check the license on the page, then upload the file here. We print it and ship it. We do not download files from MakerWorld for customers.

MakerWorld pages are built around a real printer setup: colors, plates, and print profiles. That is great once you own the matching printer. If you do not, the file is still yours to download and print somewhere else, including here.

The one thing worth knowing before you download: a lot of MakerWorld files are project 3MF files. That kind of 3MF is not just a shape, it is closer to a saved print job. It can hold several parts arranged together on one or more plates, the way the maker set them up on their own printer. If the model you want is only one of several parts on that plate, you may need to open the 3MF in a slicer first and save out just the part you want, or check the page for a version with a single part in it. If you are not sure which parts you actually need, tell us when you upload and we will help sort it out.
Either way, you get this file from MakerWorld yourself. We do not download it on your behalf.
What the license means for a personal print
MakerWorld shows a license on the model page, and Creative Commons terms are common there too: Attribution, Non Commercial, No Derivatives, and combinations of the three. Read whichever one is shown on your model before you print.
For a print you plan to keep or give as a gift, Attribution and Non Commercial licenses both work, and No Derivatives just means you print the design as shared rather than a changed version of it. A model with no license shown, or marked all rights reserved, has not been cleared to print, so check with the maker first.
This is a decision the maker made, not us. If a page is unclear, say so when you upload and a person looks at it with you.
