On a sunny windowsill or a porch full of potted plants, a water spike sits in the soil with a bottle threaded on top. It threads onto a standard soda bottle, so you fill the bottle with water and let the spike do the rest. The design is simple: one spike, one bottle, one plant.
This version has 2mm holes built into the tip, shaped to let water move from the bottle into the soil over time. The threads are cut to match standard PET bottle necks, so setup means filling a bottle and screwing the spike on. The pointed base is shaped to push into potted soil.
Made from PLA, this spike is a plain, functional shape with no extra parts. It is made to order in the USA after you place your order. Because soil types and plants vary, you may want to test how your plant responds to the water flow before you rely on it for longer trips.
