What it does

  • Grips rubber stoppers firmly so they stay in place and don't pop out during fermentation.
  • Cuts away at the top so you can add or remove airlocks without disturbing your batch.
  • Slides on easily and works with 3, 5, and 6.5 gallon carboys, so one clamp fits most setups.
  • Made from 3D-printed durable material, customizable through the OpenSCAD file for your exact carboy size.

Keep your rubber stoppers locked down so fermentation stays clean and uninterrupted. This clamp holds wet, new stoppers in place so they cannot shift or push up out of your glass carboy during the brewing process.

The design cuts away at the top, which means you can access your airlock and make adjustments without removing the stopper. It slides on with a positive grip that feels solid and secure. The clamp works right out of the box for 6.5 gallon carboys from Northern Brewer, and it also fits 3 and 5 gallon sizes. If you need a custom fit, the OpenSCAD file is yours to modify and reprint.

Printed plastic is strong for its size, but it is not metal. We have not load tested this design, so we do not publish a weight rating. Keep it out of a hot car and away from open flame.
