What it does

  • Shaped with a wide convex base so the bowl gets more contact with the ground
  • Raised outlets set the water level at 28mm for birds with larger beaks
  • Made with a PET bottle adapter so you can attach a standard bottle as the reservoir
  • Outdoor-style shape works for a coop, run, or patio watering spot
  • Wide footprint design gives the bowl a low, stable stance on the ground

Chicken waterers come in many shapes. This one uses a wide convex base and a raised water level to give your birds an easier drinking spot. The 28mm water level suits chickens or other birds with larger beaks who need a deeper reservoir.

The design attaches to a standard PET bottle, which acts as the water reservoir. Water flows down into the bowl through raised outlets, and air moves back up through matching inlets. The wide base shape spreads the bowl's footprint across more ground contact.

This piece is a good fit for a chicken coop, a bird run, or any outdoor feeding corner where you want an automatic-style water bowl. Made by Polly-Jeanius as a remix of an earlier chicken waterer design, this version raises the water level and adds a broader base shape.
