You get a working X-stage that moves smooth and holds tight. This design takes the original Cupcake CNC stage and reworks it for router cutting. You print the parts or have them cut, then assemble a stage that handles your print jobs better than stock parts.

The files give you everything you need. Slots resize to fit 5.2mm plywood. Timing belt areas recess so you can glue in a short belt section. A few spots need light filing to clean up corners, and some parts run thin, so handle them with care during assembly.

This stage works best when you pair it with the matching Y and Z stages. Together they upgrade your whole Cupcake CNC machine into something more precise and reliable.
