You upload the firmware, run the leveling routine, and the first layer finally lays down flat across the whole bed. This customized Marlin 1.1.9 build adds mesh leveling to the Anycubic Mega X, so the corners stop fighting the middle of the print.

The build sets the right bed size, endstop logic, and acceleration values for the Mega X out of the box. Add M420 S1 after G28 in the start gcode, and you get the flat first layer that big-bed printers usually struggle with.
