This 3D printable bearing is a customizable SCAD remix that lets you design and print functional bearings tailored to your specific 3D printer. Starting with standard 608 bearing proportions (8mm inner diameter, 22mm outer diameter, 7mm height), you can adjust spacing between the balls and rings, as well as ball height, to achieve optimal fit and performance on your hardware.

The design prints as a single interlocking piece, eliminating assembly steps. Because printer tolerances vary, the included SCAD file gives you full control over critical clearances. A spacing range of 0.2–0.25mm works well for most FDM printers, though testing with a small bearing prototype is recommended before committing to full-size prints.

For bearings with smaller balls than rings, you can reduce ball height space and apply support material during printing to ensure clean ball geometry. Example STL files are provided to show different customization possibilities.
